The challenge

Standalone applications limit growth

DESQ worked with a software landscape in which many processes depended on manual actions and retyping data between different applications. Due to the growth in sales channels, reseller collaborations, and digital order flows, this became increasingly complex.

This led to:

  • time wasted due to double entry

  • an increased risk of errors in orders, deliveries, and invoicing

  • limited scalability, because processes could not automatically adapt

  • less time for controlling and process optimization, because employees were mainly occupied with data entry

DESQ sought a solution that would bring together integrations and standard functionality in a single future-proof environment.

The solution

A central ERP system

Together with DESQ, Uniconta was chosen Uniconta the central ERP platform, with a clear focus on connectivity and the smart use of standard functionalities and extensions.

After a thorough assessment, Promentum drew up a blueprint for the new environment. This blueprint was implemented in H2 2025, after which DESQ went live with Uniconta on January 5.

The key components of the solution:

  • Uniconta the central core, where all processes converge

  • Implementation of integrations with resellers, commercial platforms, and various customer links

  • Use of Unicontapowerful standard functionalities, supplemented with Uniconta from Promentum that are perfectly suited to trading companies, including:

    • support for specific discount structures

    • The Shipping Module for handling shipping processes

    • Availability check (ATP) for managing delivery times and delivery reliability

This combination enabled DESQ to achieve a large part of the desired functionality without customization, while integrations actually increase efficiency and scalability.
