Polak & Co is a renowned supplier of oriental products, pine nuts, nuts and dried fruits. With a history of more than 100 years in importing and exporting, the company is an established name in the international food trade.
Polak & Co was working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV2018, in which a lot of customization had been applied. The desire was clear: a modern, flexible ERP solution that better matched the specific processes, but was based on standard functionality - to minimize future maintenance.
Uniconta was chosen as the new ERP system because of its powerful standard functionality, complemented by add-ons from Promentum developed specifically for international wholesalers.
Uniconta allows users to create their own fields, tables, buttons, reports and dashboards - completely without custom code. This was crucial for Polak & Co, for example, when setting up fields for frozen products, batch management and best-before dates (THT). Promentum handled the implementation of both Uniconta and the associated international trade add-ons.
The no-code nature of Uniconta allowed Polak & Co to fully configure the system to their needs, without expensive and risky modifications to the source code.
